​​​​​​​SICCME (Strategic Initiative on Climate Change Impacts on Marine Ecosystems) is a joint ICES/PICES initiative with the overall objective to improve understanding of climate change impacts on marine ecosystems. SICCME facilitates networking, organizing, coordination, and synthesis within the ICES, PICES, and international community, including planning and arranging theme sessions, workshops, symposia, and joint papers.  

This session will present the main achievements of SICCME over the past year, including summaries of the 3rd Symposium on Effects of Climate Change on the World's Oceans, SICCME related workshops and projects, and provide an opportunity for discussion of new networking activities.

All ICES ASC participants are welcome to attend this session.
