In-person partcipation
By participating in person, you are welcome to join keynotes, theme sessions, social events and several exciting excursions and side events.
With app access you will have access to uploaded posters, videos and recordings of the keynotes. You will be able to chat and ask questions to conveners and participants through the app. There will be no live streaming or recording of theme sessions.
Keynote speeches
All keynotes will take place live at Klaipėda University.
Theme sessions
All theme sessions taking place in Klaipėda will be in-person only. Participants with app access (25 EUR) are able to ask questions to session convenors and presenters via the app chat functions
Accepted authors will be invited to prepare an 8-minute presentation of their work. Oral presentations can be presented in person during a theme session at the venue in Klaipėda, or, if the presenter is not on site, via a pre-recorded talk. These talks are played as part of the presentations in each theme session.
Presenters who are not able to attend in person, are asked to submit their pre-recorded presentation videos to ICES Secretariat one month prior to the conference by 14 August 2025.
Accepted poster authors are invited to prepare a poster of their work, present it in person at the venue in Klaipėda, and upload it to the conference app.
Poster authors not attending in person can upload their poster to the conference app, and can have their poster displayed at the poster exhibit, provided a colleague or friend brings the poster on their behalf.
Poster upload to the app requires registration to in person participation or app access (25 EUR).
