The Annual Science Conference will feature a range of extracurricular and excursions.

Dive into creativity at this year’s conference with our special Marine-themed craft Pop-Up shop! Whether you're a maker or a collector, bring your hand-crafted or store-bought ocean treasures - knitwear, crochet, jewellery, clothing, paintings, sculptures, or toys - to swap or sell in a vibrant, ocean-inspired setting.

Explore unique, sea-themed creations, meet fellow craft lovers, and support a great cause: all proceeds will go to a local charity.

Even if you don’t have anything to bring or buy, you can still take part. Feel free to leave a donation in the charity box and help us make a difference.

10:00-12:00 

Sightseeing tour in Juodkrantė 

Price: 10 Euros/Person 

​A tour that highlights Juodkrantė's main attractions: the villas' quarter, the legends of the "Hill of Witches", and the lagoon embankment sculptures.

14:00-15:00

Guided tour around the KU Botanical Garden 

Free. Limited to 25 participants. Registeration is required. 

​One-hour guided tour of the KU Botanical Garden, led by a professional garden specialist. Learn about the rare and distinguished species the garden proudly preserves, and explore the meticulously curated assemblage of Lithuania’s flora department.

Tour on the Curonian Lagoon by boat "Gresa"

Price: 15 Euros/Person 

A cheerful tour on the Curonian Lagoon by modern boat „Gresa“. During this excursion, you will sail towards the Parnidis and Gliders (lith. Sklandytojų) dunes, admire the panorama of the Nida settlement and the exceptional views of the Grobštas nature reserve, reach the Lithuanian State border and return to the harbor. The sailing will be accompanied by a lively story from the captain about the Curonian Lagoon and the city of Neringa.

Guided tour "Maritime Klaipeda" 

Price: 5 Euros/Person 

Discover Klaipėda's rich seafaring heritage on a 2-hour guided walking tour through its maritime sites. Explore the old town's maritime landmarks, hear captivating stories of sailors and merchants, and learn how the sea shaped Klaipėda's culture, economy, and identity. Visit key sites such as the Old Castle territory and the elegant Meridianas sailing ship, a beloved symbol of Klaipėda's maritime spirit. This tour offers an authentic glimpse into Klaipėda's past and present as a gateway to the sea.​

Guided tour around Dreverna and educational programme "1000 years ago"

Price: 30 Euros/Person 

An experienced local guide will lead you through the most notable sights in Dreverna. Climb the tower for panoramic views of the Curonian Lagoon and the mysterious Dead Dunes. And later - demonstration-tasting of dishes from the Viking era (9th-12th centuries).

Sightseeing walking tour in Nida 

Price: 10 Euros/Person 

​​A tour that points out Nida's main attractions: the majestic beauty of the Dune of Parnidis, the views of the Dune of Gliders (lith. Sklandytojų), the legendary sundial-calendar and the original weathervanes. The tour includes a visit to the amber gallery-museum garden, the ethnographic cemetery and the summerhouse the writer Thomas Mann. ​

Sailing cruise around the port of Klaipėda by KU yacht “Odisėja"

Free. Limited to 15 participants. Registeration is required.

Enjoy a relaxing cruise on the Curonian Lagoon aboard a historical-style vessel once used by local fishermen. An experienced local guide will lead you through the most notable sights in Dreverna. Climb the tower for panoramic views of the Curonian Lagoon and the mysterious Dead Dunes. Visit to the Weather Vane Square
