Early Career Participation Fund

ICES Early Career Participation Fund supports participation for early career scientists from ICES Member Countries. The fund will open for applications in May.
ICES defines early career scientists as being 35 years or below, or having finished their PhD in the past five years.
To be eligible for the participation fund, applicants must have an abstract accepted to a theme session, for poster or oral presentation. Therefore we will open for funding applications after the notifications to authors have been communicated.

SIIECS seminar series - ASC special

Are you presenting a poster or a paper at the 2024 ASC? Would you like the opportunity to rehearse before the big day in front of an audience and receive feedback?

The Strategic Initiative on Integration of Early Career Scientists (SIIECS) online seminar series provides an informal and supportive forum for early-career scientists to practice giving oral presentations.

On 10 June, a panel of experts who have previously judged posters and presentations at ICES ASC to give advice and answer questions on how to improve your posters and presentations.
