Objectives:

BioProtect addresses critical needs in marine biodiversity conservation through the development of advanced area-based management tools (ABMTs) and evidence-based ecosystem restoration approaches. Aligned with initiatives such as the EU 2030 Biodiversity Strategy and the UN Decade of Ocean Science for Sustainable Development, BIOPROTECT aims to foster ecological resilience and sustainability across Atlantic and Arctic marine systems.
