Operationalising climate change adaptation and mitigation in European aquaculture

​​​​​As an OCCAM Project Partner, ICES will be ready to support a future towards resilient and sustainable aquaculture throughout the Northeast Atlantic, as ICES is committed to better understand and support the ​​sustainable use of marine ecosystems. ICES will build on the project’s case studies to shape our advice on aquaculture and climate impacts. ​

The overall objective of OCCAM is to implement, test, and evaluate innovative solutions for climate change adaptation and mitigation in the aquaculture sector, and to deliver scalable, replicable, and exploitable solutions with accompanying recommendations ready for deployment in a wide variety of aquaculture supply chains. As an OCCAM Project Partner, ICES will be ready to support a future towards resilient and sustainable aquaculture throughout the Northeast Atlantic, as ICES is committed to better understand and support the  sustainable use of marine ecosystems. ICES will build on the project's case studies to strengthen our advice on aquaculture in relation to climate change.
