From Q3 2024:
An updated format document will be available. The main changes include a review of field descriptions in Catch and Biology sections, inclussion of several submission examples with the most common types of files received for different sampling strategies, and an explanation of them in the format description document.

From June 2024:
A new field GeneticPopulation has been added to the biotic format, in the Biology section. The original request came form WKSIDAC2 and was reviewed and accepted by WGACousticGOV. The new fiels is optional and refers to this Vocab list GeneticPopulation. The initial Vocab is largely based on the outcomes of WKSIDAC2.
From Q4 2024:
A new field called LengthUnit will be added to both Catch and Biology sections of the biotic format. It will be conditionaly mandatory when LengthCode is submitted. The input values will be either cm or mm, while the output will be fixed to mm.
