Documentation news:

31 March 2024:

An updated format document is now available for download. The main changes include a review of field descriptions in Catch and Biology sections, inclussion of several submission examples with the most common types of files received for different sampling strategies, and an explanation of them in the format description document.


Format updates:​

From 2024 Q2:

A new field Population will be added to the biotic format, in the Catch section. It will be optional and it will refer to a Vocab list at present in development. The initial Vocab is largely based on the outcomes of WKSIDAC2.


From 2024 Q4:

A new field called LengthUnit will be added to both Catch and Biology sections of the biotic format. It will be conditionaly mandatory when LengthCode is submitted. The input values will be either cm or mm, while the output will be fixed to mm.
