Oral Sessions
Q: How
will I present if I’m joining the conference online?
A: If
the you (the presenter) choose to present remotely, the talk needs to be
pre-recorded and sent to the ICES secretariat one month prior to the
conference. The recording will then be played by ICES staff to the room and
online, the remote presenter (you) is asked to be available online for the
theme session to answer questions during the Q&A.

Q: Are
the poster presenters supposed to answer questions from the audience during the
poster session?
A: When
you arrive at registration, hand in your poster, staff will then hang your
poster and it will be on display throughout the conference week in the poster
area. As a poster presenter, you should attend the poster session on Tuesday
evening and stand by your poster - you will have lots of people come by to talk
with you about your work.
Q: Will
it be possible to print the poster at the venue?
A: No.
It’s important that you remember to print your poster before arriving at the
venue and it will also be your responsibility to upload your poster to the
whova platform.
