This portal supports HELCOM's underwater (continuous) noise indicator for the Baltic Sea Action Plan (BSAP), the draft Regional Action
Plan on Underwater Noise and the third HELCOM Holistic assessment (HOLAS III), as well the indicators for the OSPAR Ambient Noise Monitoring Strategy.
The data standard was based on standards used in the Baltic Sea Information on the Acoustic Soundscape (BIAS) and Joint Monitoring Programme for Ambient Noise North Sea (JOMOPANS) projects.
