ICES awards recognize the diversity of the marine science community, and we encourage nominations from all groups.
The deadline for nominations is 12 April 2026.

How do I nominate?

There are two stages to this process. First, nominations are made online. As a nominator, you will submit the candidate's name along with a few sentences describing why you have nominated them.

Following the deadline, the Awards Committee will ask the nominator to submit more detailed supporting material about their candidate (nomination letter, CV, list of publications, and letters of support).

Please be aware that nominations lacking supporting material will not be considered in the final evaluation. Self-nominations are not permitted.
