Bringing together the marine science community, symposia play an important role in ICES Science Programme.
Each year, ICES provides support for scientific symposia that contribute to our efforts to develop and share knowledge and expertise related to marine science.
ICES now welcomes proposals for co-sponsorship of symposia taking place in 2025 on topics that are relevant to our Science Plan, Strategic Plan, and/or Advisory Plan.
How to apply?
The first step is to contact our symposia coordinator to request a resolution form. Consult the Symposia Guidelines to assist you with your proposal and submit this to the Secretariat by 1 February 2023. ICES Science Committee (SCICOM) will review and approve symposium resolutions at its spring 2023 meeting.
