The ASC will take place from 15–18 September 2026 at Le Quartz - National Stage. The Call for Abstracts has opened, and the conference is now accepting submissions.
ICES ASC is a cornerstone for the global marine science community, providing a platform for researchers, policymakers, and stakeholders to share cutting-edge findings and innovative ideas.
This year's conference features 18 theme sessions and 7 network sessions that explore critical topics such as climate change impacts, advancing integrated and ecosystem-based fisheries management, human pressures, impacts, and mitigation, and innovation, technology, and data for marine science.
Participants will have the opportunity to present their research and engage with the marine science community to address some of the most pressing challenges facing our oceans.
Key dates for the submission process are:
- Submission deadline: 25 February 2026
- Notification of acceptance: 15 May 2026
Researchers at all career stages are encouraged to submit abstracts. The conference emphasizes early-career scientists' participation, inclusion, and networking, ensuring a welcoming and respectful environment for all participants.
