A workshop to develop guidelines on the evaluation of rebuilding plans - looking at implementation of plans in the Northeast Atlantic and beyond -  proposing criteria for accepting future plans consistent with international best practices.

24 - 28 February 2020

NB: ​Starting time on the first day is 1:00 pm, closing time on the last day is 1:00 pm.

ICES Headquarters, Copenhagen, Denmark

This workshop will be diving into rebuilding plans, reviewing the history of evaluating and implementing such plans and developing guidelines for future implementation.  

We hope to attract a broad range of participants so that we can cover the methodological, the advisory and the policy aspects of the terms of reference​.

Contributions​ on these subjects are welcome: 

  • Reviews of experiences within different advisory or management frameworks

  • Reviews of specific case studies and how rebuilding plans have been handled, evaluated or implemented.​

  • Reviews of different technical tools.

  • Application of specific tools to specific case studies.

  • Strength-weaknesses analysis of different tools​.

  • Review of guidelines and criteria for rebuilding plans used in different management frameworks​.​
