The role of the Finance Committee is to examine the Council's audited accounts for the preceding financial year and its preliminary accounts for the current one, as well as a budget for the ensuing financial year and a forecast budget for the year after that.
Its membership comprises one of the Danish delegates alongside four other delegates appointed by the Council for a period of three years. The first Vice-President also attends the meetings of Finance Committee (without the right to vote).
