Venue
The Shellfish symposium takes place at Scandic Ishavshotel in the city centre of Tromsø. Monday night Icebreaker is held at the Institute of Marine Research (IMR), Framsenteret, Hjalmar Johansens Gate 14.
Registration
Fee: 350 Euro
Student fee: 150 Euro
One day fee: 100 Euro (lunch buffet included)
Full registration will include a lunch buffet on each day of the conference, Icebreaker reception, excursion with a meal on day one, and confererence dinner.
Accommodation
Conference fee does not include accommodation, and participants are encouraged to book accommodation well in advance, as this is high tourist season in Tromsø with Northern lights and whale watching. The conference hotel will hold rooms until 1 October 2019.

The reference code is valid for the period 1 November – 8 November 2019, for bookings made within 1 October. The prize is 1440 NOK per night (including VAT) for single room.
Bookings can be changed or cancelled within 6 PM/18:00 local time 1 November 2019. Payment at the hotel. Breakfast included.
How to get there
Scandic Ishavshotel is located 6,3 km from Tromsø Langnes Airport. To get from the airport to the conference hotel you can take a taxi, an airport express coach that goes to the hotel, or a regular city bus that stops close to the airport (5-minute walk).
