The Workshop on Fisheries Overviews (WKFO) aims to discuss and analyse feedback obtained from a survey on ICES Fisheries Overviews (FOs) in order to meet the current and emerging management needs. The group will propose a long-term strategy for FOs by focusing on purpose, links with other advisory products and management needs. WKFO will identify new items to be incorporated to the Fisheries Overviews and relevant Expert Groups responsible for these items. In collaboration with the ICES Data Centre, WKFO will identify data to be used in future Fisheries Overviews in conformity with the FAIR principles.
