Our Fisheries Overviews (FOs) summarize fishing activities at ICES ecoregion-level, including which countries are catching what species, the various fishing methods being used, and how stocks are managed.
This workshop will propose a long-term strategy for FOs by focusing on purpose, links with other advisory products and management needs. WKFO will identify new items to be incorporated to the Fisheries Overviews as well as the relevant Expert Groups responsible for these items.
In collaboration with ICES Data Centre, WKFO will identify data to be used in future Fisheries Overviews in conformity with the FAIR principles.
