WGQUALITY analyses existing ICES quality management processes within advice production and evaluate their coherence with the objectives of ICES Advisory Plan. The group will specify an ICES advisory quality management system that is in line with the scope and direction in the advice plan – this will then be used to evaluate current activities.
The work of WGQuality supports ICES aim of creating an end-to-end quality assurance framework for advice production - from data management, data integration, data analysis, and data use, to the process of translating that data into ICES advice.
