Library

Our library provides access to over 100 years of ICES publications, and external content relating to our work.

Our online library contains ICES Advice, Scientific and Business Reports, Committee and Meeting documents, and much more. It is maintained by ICES Secretariat and hosted on figshare.

As we have been publishing for more than a century, there are still some materials that are only available in hard-copy from ICES Secretariat. If you are having trouble finding a publication online, please contact our Librarian to request a copy.

External publications

The online library now features an External Publications Database, which users can browse and submit content to.

Publications must fit the following parameters:

use of ICES data
resulting from ICES sponsorship or funding
linked to ICES expert groups or strategic initiatives.

The External Publications Database hosts links through which users can access the content on the relevant journal or institution
website.

Before submitting, please refer to the External Publication Submission Guidelines. All submissions will be reviewed by the Publications Office, who may contact you for clarifications or further information. Content that does not adhere to the guidelines will be refused.
