ICES Outstanding Achievement Award honours scientists who have made especially notable contributions to ICES. The award recognizes a member of ICES community who has made ongoing important contributions to our organization in the field of marine science over a sustained period of time.
How to nominate
There are two stages to the nomination process. Firstly, nominations are submitted online, and require a name, title, and a few sentences about the person you are nominating. The second and final stage occurs after submission deadline when the Awards Committee will ask the nominator to submit more detailed supporting material (nomination letter, CV, list of publications, and letters of support).
Deadline for nominations is 2 May, and deadline for submitting supporting material is 13 June.
The award ceremony will be held at ICES Annual Science Conference in Dublin in September.
