Following a lifting of restrictions by Danish authorities,
meetings will generally be possible at ICES Headquarters from March 2022 onwards.
There are no current restrictions in Denmark for meetings, however, the health and safety of our staff and community continues to be our primary concern.
Participants from outside Denmark will need to comply with the entry rules for Denmark. (This currently includes requirements for vaccination or testing/isolation, depending on one's country of origin.) Participants planning to attend physically are reminded to arrange for appropriate health & travel insurance.
All groups that are planning to meet at ICES HQ will be contacted to provide information on those participating to make decisions for room allocation and potential restrictions.
Masks are available for everyone who wishes to wear one. Meeting room capacities will be reinstated to allow distancing and to limit overall capacity in the Secretariat.
This decision will be evaluated if needed and adjusted according to changes in pandemic rules and restrictions.
Meetings in member countries
Out of house meetings must follow the respective national and host institutional guidelines. All out of house meetings need to be organized to enable remote participation to accommodate participation for those unable to travel (irrespective the reason).
If you are in doubt about your meeting, meeting dates, or have any other questions or concerns related to this, please contact ICES Secretariat via [email protected].
