The call is open for theme and network session proposals for the 2023 edition of our flagship event, the Annual Science Conference (ASC) taking place 11-15 September 2023.
We are excited to announce that next year's ASC will be hosted by Spain at Palacio Euskalduna in Bilbao, Basque Country, Spain!
The ASC provides opportunities for marine scientists to present and discuss the latest marine science, develop new ideas, and establish partnerships. The scientific programme provides opportunities for everyone, from students and early career scientists to senior scientists and leaders of research institutes, to engage and contribute.
We encourage proposals for topics that are accessible to a broad range of marine scientists, and that they cover at least one, and preferably more, of our science priorities. We would also like the proposal submitters to consider how their session will facilitate online participation for the participants who will be attending the session online.
The deadline for submitting proposals is 9 September.
