Management Evaluations

Management scenarios that provide suitable options for ensuring the sustainability of the case study fisheries

A key objective of PANDORA was to develop management scenarios that provide suitable options for ensuring the sustainability of the case study fisheries. To this end, the project scoped regional management needs for biological information, for example reach an agreement on potentially upcoming new resources, and focal species showing large changes in biomass and/or distributions within recent years. PANDORA provides critical new information on the costs/benefits of incorporating biological integrity and reliable ecological processes into stock assessment and prediction, with a demonstrable impact of alternative management scenarios.
