The ID Leaflets for Diseases and Parasites in Fish and Shellfish series is written and peer-reviewed by experts in the field, and is regularly updated with new and revised leaflets covering major and emerging diseases and parasites of wild and aquaculture fish and shellfish. The series is produced under the auspices of the ICES Working Group on Pathology and Diseases of Marine Organisms (WGPDMO) and the current series editor is Neil Ruane.

ID Leaflets are are normally produced by invitation. However, if you are interested in contributing, please contact the series editor or ICES editor.

ID Leaflets for Plankton provide practical taxonomic keys, relevant ecological information, and detailed references for the identification of major plankton species and groups in the ICES Area. They are written and peer-reviewed by experts in the field. The series is produced under the auspices of the ICES Working Group on Zooplankton Ecology (WGZE) and the current series editors are Antonina dos Santos and Lidia Yebra.

In 2019, the series relaunched after a publication hiatus of 18 years. The series will revisit and update key zooplankton groups described in older leaflets, and will be expanded, to encompass groups previously not covered by the series. Further, the leaflets now contain summaries and links to available molecular data for each species or group. Our collection of published leaflets can be browsed in the ICES library.

TIMES are produced under the auspices of ICES expert groups and ad-hoc groups, and are peer-reviewed by specialists in the field. They offer detailed and state-of-the art descriptions of methods and procedures, ranging in topics from chemical, physical, and biological measurements through detailed survey protocols, to data handling and modelling. Many include useful tips and tricks from experienced users. For a full overview of all the topics covered, you can browse our TIMES collection in the ICES library. The current series editor is Tatiana Tsagaraki.

As of 2020, the previously independent Series of ICES Survey Protocols (SISP) is merging with our TIMES series as a new TIMES collection: ICES Survey Protocols.

CRRs are produced under the auspices of ICES expert groups and ad-hoc groups, and are peer-reviewed by specialists in the field. CRRs keep readers up to date and informed of ongoing, significant science. The accessible format allows for summaries of complex analyses or survey outputs. For a full overview of all the topics covered, you can browse our CRR collection in the ICES library. Please note that we are in the process of digitalizing our CRR collection, and some older volumes are not yet available online, but can be provided upon request. The current series editor is Emory Anderson.
