Spread over four days and nineteen theme sessions, this year's Annual Science Conference (ASC) will see hundreds of participants descend on Fort Lauderdale to share and discuss the latest research from across the spectrum of marine science.
Scientists interested in presenting their work at the conference can now turn in abstracts through the online submission system by the 30 April deadline.
Several key areas will be put under the microscope at the ASC, including the Arctic, aquaculture, ecosystem monitoring, marine ecosystem services, and bioinvasions.
Authors from the global scientific community and particularly early career scientists are encouraged to submit abstracts, adding to a diverse pool conference attendees that typically includes scientists, various stakeholders and policy and decision-makers.
The ASC 2017 runs 18-21 September at the Greater Fort Lauderdale/Broward Country Convention Center in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, USA.
