ICES Working Group on North Atlantic Salmon met during March, in Copenhagen to consider questions posed by the North Atlantic Salmon Conservation Organization (NASCO), the international organization responsible for management of North Atlantic Salmon.
NASCO, set up in 1984, have responsibility for the conservation, restoration, enhancement, and rational management of wild salmon in the North Atlantic. There are six parties that are signatories to its Convention, including the EU which represents its Member States.
