This series presents detailed descriptions of methods and procedures
relating to chemical and biological measurements
in the marine environment.
Most of the techniques described have been selected for documentation on the basis of performance in ICES or other international intercalibration exercises. The series is intended for use at the laboratory bench, in the field, or on research vessels.
Publication of TIMES is approved by resolution submitted to the Publications Committee and Consultative Committee. Reports are evaluated by a specialist in the relevant field and by the series editor. Further editorial and formatting work is undertaken by the ICES Secretariat before the report is published in printed and electronic forms.
Printed copies can be ordered at a nominal cost from the ICES Secretariat, and electronic copies of the most recent reports can be downloaded gratis through the links below.
