ICES - RNODC (Formats) - GF3 Subsets |
Introduction
A major duty of RNODC (Formats) is to make available descriptions of
the GF3 format for the exchange of geo-referenced data, primarily
oceanographic data. The system has been built up in a modular way so
that specific data sets can have their own GF3 Subsets.
Subsets are currently available for many data set types, including
CTD, profile and current meters. For details, and a copy, please
contact ICES ocean@ices.dk.
IOC GETADE is now preparing postscript files of each subset to
facilitate the availability of the subset specifications. These are
available on this server as compressed postcript files (pkzip) files.
Uncompressed files, or .Z files, are available on request from ICES.
