Maps and spatial information

Maps and spatial layers are used extensively in ICES to aid in the organisation of data into something more than a collection of numbers and coordinates

‚Äč‚ÄčICES manage a number of maps related to the North-East Atlantic, these are used extensively in ICES expert groups for the planning of data collection and the visualisation of data. We also work closely with the regional sea conventions to offer a selection of their map products through our spatial facility.

Maps can be downloaded as digital shape files, but simple pdf's are also available.
