Regular fee
Please note that this year the deadline for the early registration fee, Euro 130, will be
1 August 2011. We thereby encourage participants to register and make their hotel reservations early.
In parallel with the 2011 ICES Annual Science Conference in September, there will be a medical conference in Gdańsk. There may be no hotel rooms available later on in the summer.
Reduced fee
Members and alternates of the Science Committee (SCICOM) and the Advisory Committee (ACOM), Expert Group Chairs under SCICOM and ACOM, and nationally appointed Member Country Delegates to ICES can register at the special rate of Euro 65 on or before 1 August 2011.
Students may also register at the special rate of Euro 65 on or before 1 August 2011 (Please send a note to the ICES Secretariat, signed by your Tutor/Professor, confirming your participation).
One-day fee
The one-day fee will be Euro 60. When choosing this fee, please indicate which day you are participating, when the system asks you to do so.
Free registration fee
The ICES President, Chairs and Vice-chairs of SCICOM and ACOM, ICES Journal Editors, 2011 ASC Theme Session Conveners, Outgoing Committee chairs from 2010, Outstanding Achievement Award winners, and 2010 Merit Award winners can register free to the ASC.
Late registration fee
After 1 August 2011, the registration fee will be Euro 180 for everyone.
What is included?
The registration fee covers
- a conference welcome bag with the conference handbook and DVD, the conference programme, and local tourist information about Gdańsk
- attendance at all sessions of the main conference (except where noted)
- the welcome reception on Monday evening and the Poster session on Tuesday evening
- coffee and tea during the “coffee breaks” as listed in the conference programme
Accompanying persons
Accompanying persons will be charged a fee of Euro 30 upon registration. This will cover attendance in the Opening and Closing Ceremonies and the social events on Monday and Tuesday evening.

Name badges
All registered participants, including accompanying persons, are requested to pick up their badges from the registration desk before the start of the conference and to wear them during the whole conference.
Refunds policy
Requests for refund of ICES Annual Science Conference registration fees must be made in writing to Inger Lützhøft or Helle Falck at ICES Secretariat before 31 August 2011. No-shows will not be eligible for any refunds and forfeit the registration fees paid. When notified before 31 August 2011, we will refund the amount paid minus 10% covering the administration costs involved. |
