Normal fee

The registration fee will be Euro 145 until 31 August 2009.

Reduced fee

Members of Science Committees (SCICOM)/Advisory Committees (ACOM), Expert Group Chairs under SCICOM and ACOM, and Member Country Delegates to ICES can register at a special rate of Euro 80 on or before 31 August 2009.

Students may also register at the special rate of Euro 80 on or before 31 August 2009 (Please send a note to the ASC Secretariat signed by your Tutor/Professor confirming your participation).

Late registration fee

After 31 August 2009 the registration fee will be Euro 195 for everyone.

Payment of the registration fee covers

• a conference kit, including the conference handbook and DVD, the conference programme, and local tourist information about Berlin
• attendance at all sessions of the main conference (except where noted)
• the welcome reception Monday evening and the Poster session on Tuesday evening
• coffee and tea during the “coffee breaks” as listed  in the conference programme
• a combined ticket for public transportation in the Berlin ABC fare zones from 21 to 25 September 2009

Accompanying persons

Accompanying persons will be charged a fee of Euro 45 upon registration. This will cover attendance in the Opening and Closing Ceremonies and the social events on Monday and Tuesday evening. Accompanying persons will also receive the combined ticket for public transportation in Berlin during the conference week. Registered accompanying persons should check-in at ICES Registration Desk upon arrival and must wear their Conference badge at all times when in the Conference area.

Refunds policy

Requests for refund of ICES Annual Science Conference registration fees must be made in writing to the ICES Secretariat before 31 August 2009. No-Shows will not be eligible for any refunds and forfeit the registration fees paid.

Main choice of theme sessions

For logistical reasons, we will ask you to kindly choose 1–4 theme sessions that you would like to attend on the registration form. You are of course welcome to attend all the theme sessions but your main choices will help us in the planning of room allocations.
