Submission of Papers and Posters

If your abstract has been accepted for presentation in one of the Theme Sessions:

• You will be required to prepare a complete paper/manuscript fully describing your presentation, and illustrated as necessary.


• There are no limitations to the size of this paper, but the amount of material provided should be consistent with what you can communicate in a talk of approx. 15 minutes.


• Submissions will only be published on the conference CD-ROM and appear in the final programme if at least one of the authors registers and attends the conference to present the work. The Secretariat will need to have the conference registration and an electronic copy of your contribution (paper/poster) by:

Monday 11 August 2008 at the very latest

The electronic copy of your paper/poster can be submitted by e-mail attachment, on a CD, or anonymous FTP to ftp.ices.dk, and preferably in Adobe Acrobat PDF format. Alternatively, documents may be submitted in MS Word. We cannot guarantee that corrections submitted after the deadline of 11 August 2008, will be reflected in the printed conference handbook and on the conference CD-ROM.

Manuscript preparation guidelines

• For papers, the Theme Session code should be inserted at the top right hand corner of the title page. For example: CM 2008/ (code number to be supplied by the Secretariat after acceptance).


• Papers/posters may bear the statement “Not to be cited without prior reference to the author”. If chosen, the statement should be inserted at the top of the title page.


• The paper should be prefaced by the abstract and bear the name(s) of author(s) with postal address(es), telephone and fax number(s), and e-mail address(es).
