Tuesday 19 September 2006

The Opening Night Reception for all registered participants, hosted by the ICES Delegates of the Netherlands, will be held on Tuesday 19 September at 18.30 hrs in the Limburg’s Provincial Government Building situated within walking distance from the Conference Centre.

Thursday 21 September 2006

An evening Poster Session will be held at the MECC Conference Centre on Thursday 21 September 2006 from 18.00 to 20.00 hrs. There will be refreshments and snacks served during the Session.

Friday 22 September

The Conference dinner will be held on Friday 22 September at the Fort St Pieter situated outside Maastricht. The entrance to St Pietersberg Caves is in Fort St Pieter. The fort, built in 1702 on a pentagonal plan, has bomb-proof rooms and a circular gallery with embrasures and a number of old cannons. Dinner guests can make a tour through the caves.

Bus transportation will be provided to and from MECC and the City Centre to Fort St. Pieter.

Numbers are limited and to ensure a ticket you must pre-book for this event, however, no advance payment is required. You can pay for the ticket on arrival at the Conference. The cost will be € 37.50 per person. This will cover a dinner buffet, drinks and a tour through the caves.
