Award - Best New Scientist

 

The Best New Scientist award recognizes a scientist who:

  • Enthusiastically demonstrates scientific excellence and creativity;
  • Delivers an oral presentation in a clear and concise manner;
  • ability to respond to questions concerning their presentation;
  • should be the candidate’s first time giving a paper at an ASC.

The winner presented the results from investigations on the warming of the Bay of Biscay and how this influences the dynamics of the pelagic system. In a brilliant presentation the winner showed the variability of this highly dynamic environment and included the evolution of the system, to be able to predict the future developments.
