ICES Web Services
Web services are web applications that talk directly to other web applications and services, an RSS news feed is an example of a web service. There are many types of web services and ways of interacting with them, most commonly a web or software developer will use them to retrieve information into their own application. ICES has made a number of web services that stream data to the requester depending on the parameters that are inputted - with a little bit of coding these can be used in Excel spreadsheets or other applications to ensure you're always looking at the latest data.
